California is joining at least three other states in banning the sale of short-term health insurance policies to counteract the Trump administration’s decision to expand their availability.
Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed S.B. 910 by state Sen. Ed Hernandez (D) Sept. 22 to ban the sale of policies offering less than one year of coverage.
